Austin Blues Society

SUIT is a three-piece electric blues band from Austin, Texas, that takes the music of the masters like Freddy King, Muddy Waters, Son House and Hound Dog Taylor, and in the fine tradition of the blues, makes it their own.

 

Formed in 2008, SUIT consists of Bill Asa on drums, Sean Sullivan on bass and Dana Vandiver on guitar and vocals. SUIT songs range from obscure depression-era numbers to blues standards and boogies, to more modern guitar-driven Texas blues and everything in between – with their originals thrown in for good measure. Known for their energetic performances, these guys love what they do and it shows -- which is not lost on the audience.
