Midnight Flyer Band
The Midnight Flyer Band is an-Austin-area band featuring the Hill Country Horns, performiong horn-driven arrangements of legendary and obscure performers, especially Texas-based musicians. Their setlists include classic arrangements from Delbert McClinton, Johnny Paycheck, Junior Parker, and Bobby Bare to Bobby Blue Bland. They also perform instrumental jazz and funk arrangements, with tunes by New Orlean's Meters, Herbie Hancock, and even Duke Ellington. The band c alls their eclectic songlist “Tex-Mix music”, for the broad musical taste Texans are famous for, like the old Armadillo in Austin.

Midnight Flyer has been appearing at Hill Country festivals and area venues since 2014, including the Dripping With Taste Festival several times, and at the Johnson City 4th of July Fest. They look forward to recording over the winter and releasing a CD early in 2019.
