During the late 60's, Matthew Robinson frequently toured the United States as a singer for The Mustangs, opening for legends such as Jimmy Reed, James Brown, Big Mamma Thornton and Johnny Winter.
Over his more than forty years of professional experience, Matthew has played virtually every venue in Austin, Texas. He has recorded six albums and headlined in the UK, Holland, Brazil and Japan.
With the newly instituted veteran all-star band The Jelly Kings – Jeff Hayes (Jonny Lang, Bernard Allison), Pete Langhans (Mother Truckers), Ron D’Argenio (Miranda Lambert) and Steve Power (Jesse “Guitar” Taylor, David Booker) – providing support and drive, Matthew Robinson is at the start of a new journey, performing in quality venues to a constantly increasing and loyal following.
