Bill Blue Bushey, Vice President and Artist Liaison for the Austin Blues Society, passed away this past Thursday. Bill's memorial service will be at the Skylark Lounge tomorrow, Sunday, January 29th, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM – all are welcome to attend.
Bill was a guiding light for the ABS, a passionate force who made sure we all kept our focus on our mission – honoring, supporting and promoting the blues in Central Texas. He was a true bluesman, and the best ambassador we could ask for - his presence will be deeply missed.
